There’s something so tranquil about walking by the water and seeing its vastness spread across the horizon, so I prefer to walk by the river when I get the chance to.When I’m feeling stressed, walking gives me a break from thinking about my stressors. I love seeing this awkwardly-shaped tree decorated for the holiday season. My walking path can sometimes feel industrial and gray, but I stop to find nature and beauty along the way.
I love walking. Walking, to me, serves several purposes: it’s great for fitness and exercise, getting out of my head, taking a break from being inside, and it allows me to see the outside world. Working from home can mean having a computer screen in my face for most of the day, so it’s really nice to take a break from that any time that I can and treat my senses to something new.
